Twitvid, whose name has
historically been extremely informative — it’s a host for sharing videos
on Twitter — is trying something new. This week, the company launches a
section of its site devoted to sharing and discovering the best Web
video from sites like YouTube and Vimeo. Twitvid (which raised about $10
million in venture funding) will continue to provide its existing
service, and hopes to get some of its 12 million monthly uniques to
